Introduction

Bank of Asia Nepal Limited is the 22nd commercial bank of Nepal. It is incorporated under the companies Act 2063 as 'A' Class financial institution. It started its full-fledged commercial operations from 12th October 2007 from its registered office at Tripureshwor. BOA has 10 branches as of date.

The Capital Structure

The issued capital of the Bank is NPR 1 Billion, out of which NPR 700 Million has already been paid up by the promoters, and NPR 300 Million will be issued to the public in due time. As per the Central Bank directives, the Bank's capital will be raised to NPR 2 billion within the next two years.
